Both companies have a financial services focus, targeting banks and investment funds that traditionally have demanding requirements of their Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting applications.The agreement entails adept consult using the Eclipse Foundation open source reporting project BIRT, founded and co-led by Actuate, in their business solution for the investment industry, and replacing their previous BI and reporting technology completely. Moreover, both companies will mutually support each other in sales and implementation projects.
